To start off...

They say a picture is worth 1000 words.

This blog started as my personal goal to post a picture each day of my first year living in Washington, D.C. 4 years later, the objective has changed and my posts are much less frequent. I write when I am inspired by an event or experience and do my best to capture feeling and intrigue with the photographs I take. My hope is that somewhere between the pictures and words, you have a glimpse of the inspiration behind each one and that you may experience through them some of the joy and emotion that urges me to share.

Mastercard

Day 76:
Kids Meal at Chick-fil-A......$3.59

Paying for the lady behind me at Chick-fil-A......$6.27

Movie Ticket......$10.00

Spending an evening by myself in this empty theatre eating chicken nuggets, watching How to Train your Dragon, and not thinking about my future.......priceless

Day 75: This weekend I drove up to Annapolis because Maggie was in town for her sister's LAX game at Navy. It was a sunny day and absolutely wonderful to see Mags! It my first lacrosse game and I all the more wish I had tried playing it in high school. It was nice to meet the fam and especially Amy after hearing so much about her! The trip was definitely worth it :)
